Sick week

I was not feeling well since last Sunday and it was a miracle that i made it through the whole week.

  • I had a report on Tuesday at 7am and I could hardly hear my own voice due to my cough and cold. Right after that class's dismissal, i breathlessly ran to the main library for a film-showing for my next class. Then, I worked on the last two plates for my Geog121 class--the hardest plates for that matter.
  • Wednesday was the last day of campaigning (I supported some friends who ran for certain positions) and it immediately ended after the Miting de Avance at 12PM. In the morning I kind of helped making a few banners and distributed some GPOAs at Palma Hall. In the afternoon, I had an exam. (Okay so I would have to admit that I didn't do good with that one and I'd probably get a failing grade for that.)
  • Thursday was easy. iIt was just the elections day. So I slept ALL day as soon as I got home from school.
  • Because of the lazy yesterday, I had to cram at the top of my head. T.T I have a paper due before 12 noon and I woke up at 8AM, got to school to before 10. Thank God for the ninja moves I'm capable of under pressure, I finished a [crappy] paper by 11:20AM. I even had time for lunch and 9gag. But I still got a presentation in the afternoon and I was never prepared. Since the time made it impossible for me to do anything about it anymore, I just leave everything to God. My report wasn't very informative but I think, somehow I convince the class with my babbling. When I'm done I thought I could already call it a day--or a week so I could finally rest-- but some crews from GMA News came with Heart Dino (the newly elected USC Chairperson) to record a short footage of Heart "communicating" with the student body. I'm camera shy so I ran to the back of the room shouting: "noooooooo!!!!"
Here's what aired on TV that night:
To our dismay, our class wasn't featured for more than five seconds and everybody was just 'listening' to Heart (read between the lines: the camera took shoots of just our backs!) In a way, I should be happy.

  • Some classmates and I cruised to Corregidor* with Ma'am Darlene on Saturday. I had to get up by 4AM for preparations because were docking at 7AM. However, the schedule was a little delayed for the Filipino time was followed. I had dinner with a few friends after to celebrate Sab's birthday. Then we went bowling where I was not able to join because I was seriously feeling ill. Fortunately, my thoughtful friends made Christian ran to a pharmacy to get me a pill to pop and eventually I felt better.
Imagine, I survived all of that.
*will be my next blog post's topic.
